Some of you may have seen yesterday on my snapchat (michaelabear1) that yesterday I modelled in the Limerick School of Art and Design Graduate Collection Fashion Show. It was a super long day between fittings, rehearsals and hair and makeup but it was such an enjoyable one! As I’m off to NYC next week this was my last fashion show and my Mom and Sister even came down to see me. It was honestly so nice having them there as they’ve never seen me model before.

The clothes were literally insanely amazing, the nice thing is that there is a story behind each individual collection which really shows how much thought and creativity goes into the design process! The fashion, the sick music combined with the most beautiful church venue made it all the more special!

There were so many talented designers showcasing in this show but I have to say my favorite collection was that of Avril Roche. Each piece had such clean cut silhouettes that were inspired by the movement of sails and she used two very cool techniques called laser cutting and etching to create the pieces! Not only were the outfits very chic and sophisticated but also very wearable which is refreshing in a graduate collection!
