One of my absolute favourite things to do in New York is visit The Met on a rainy day. If you go early enough on the weekends you can beat the crowds and enjoy walking around without bumping into people and their selfie sticks. My Mama Bear is a very talented artist, so I’ve always had a little interest in art and The Met boasts some of the worlds most famous paintings. While there is plenty of art and historic sculptures to see, my favourite part of The Met is the Anna Wintour Costume Center.

Last year the exhibit was based on American Couturier Charles James (read about that visit here) but this year you can find “China Through The Looking Glass”, an exhibit based on the impact of China on Western Fashion. I have to say it was really impressive, especially if you have an interest in Fashion.  The exhibition runs through September 7th so make sure to visit if you’re in the city before then! Oh and don’t forget to treat yourself to a cocktail on the Met Rooftop and enjoy some beautiful Central Park Views.

If you have a sweet tooth after The Met, I highly recommend hopping on a subway downtown to The Flatiron District where you can find The Nutella Bar at Eataly. They serve crepes, waffles, ice cream and even coffee with our favourite hazelnut spread and it will make your life! Trust me!
