Some of you might have seen on Instagram recently that I had a nice little Thanksgiving vacation in Boston. My Mom grew up there and thankfully I have some family to visit during the holidays so it really feels like a home away from home. It was my first Thanksgiving here in the States so it was a big novelty for me (as well as a huge shopping weekend).  We visited the Wrentham Premium Outlets the Wednesday before Thanksgiving where they actually started all of the Black Friday sales a few days early! I’m not kidding when I say I hunted down every single bargain and luckily found some gems.

Then to celebrate the big day, Cathal and I drove to Cape Cod for a big family dinner. You may or may not know from my snapchat (Michaelabear1) that my meals here in NYC consist mainly of Oatmeal for breakfast and Soup for dinner, so a home cooked meal was SUCH a nice treat. Cape Cod is such a beautiful place to visit, even during the Winter a walk on the beach is so refreshing! A nice change from city life. That said we spent a day walking around Boston City and honestly I loved it more than ever before. In comparison to New York, it really is a lot cleaner, more spacious and has a little more charm about it. On the other hand it is quite small and quieter than the Big Apple! I guess every city has its strengths and weaknesses!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving whether or not you were in the States! And even more importantly that you found some great bargains on Black Friday!
