Happy Monday Everyone! As many of you know, I came back to New York last week after my Christmas break back home in Ireland. I knew saying goodbye to the family again would be tough but thankfully I’m feeling back in the New York groove after a week of being jet-lagged and quite homesick. Being at home made me realise more than ever, that this is my time to make the most of every minute that I’m here in the Big Apple. I just know when I’m older and settled down with a family I’ll be looking back on these days in awe of the wonderful things I got to do!
Which is why I’m planning as much fun experiences as I can, starting with a ski trip upstate New York at the end of the month with the gang. We’ve rented a nice cabin and have booked in for some ski lessons and tubing so I’m counting down the days. I’ve never been skiing so it should be interesting! Then in February its Fashion Week and my Mom will also be visiting Boston so I’ll be spending a weekend up there with her. While my New Years resolution was to really try and live in the moment, I can’t help but look forward to all of the great things to come!
Have a great week everyone!
