Happy Friday Everyone! This week literally went by in a blink of an eye! Last week when I shared my recommendation for 10 movies you need to see, I was so happy that many of you snapped me over the weekend watching some of the films from my list! It may sound silly, but sometimes the favorite part of my day is when I’m just about to hop into bed and watch a show or movie before going to sleep! It definitely is one of life’s little pleasures when you find something that you really enjoy watching, so this week in my #LadyBearLoves series, I wanted to share 10 tv shows that I absolutely love to watch and where you can find them

The Bodyguard: Omg I just finished this British show last week after it came to Netflix in the U.S. I think there were 6 or 7 episodes and I watched them all in two days it was that good! It’s about a war veteran who’s assigned to protect the Home Secretary and has so many juicy twist and turns that make it severely addicted! One of the best shows I’ve seen so far this year.

Parenthood: I would put this show up there with my love of Gilmore Girls as one of my favorite series of all time (it actually stars Lauren Graham too). The show is based on a family as they chronicle the joys and heartache of being parents! Such a feel good show that will have you in a lot of laughs and a tear from time to time! It’s on Netflix here in the US and I’m nearly certain it’s also on Irish Netflix too!

The Night Of: This show was 1 of 2 of the best shows to come out in 2016 in my opinion. It follows one young mans story as he parties with a girl one night, only to wake up the next morning and find her dead. There’s 8 episodes to this crime drama as they try to figure out what happened on “the night of.” I binged watched this from start to finish in like a week because I was so eager to see what happened! Watch here.

Great British Bake Off: No explanation needed for this feel good show that will make you happ

American Crime Story: The People Vs OJ: This was the other best show to come out last year, and honestly I could talk all day about how much I enjoyed this one! The 10 part series explores the craziness that was the court case of the infamous OJ Simpson trial. I think the reason I loved this so much was that everything portrayed in the show was unbelievably accurate to the real life court case, even the actors that were cast in the show were dead ringers to the real life personas. If you like crime shows then I promise you will love this one! Watch here.

Homeland:  Watching the latest episode of Homeland is something I look forward to every single week! The show is based around it’s main character Carrie, who is a successful CIA officer and at the front line of every CIA opperation. The first season was based on a love affair between Carrie and a soldier who was held captive for 8 years and the most current seasons have been based on storylines involving ISIS and different bombings around the world. The best thing about this show is that it reinvents itself every single season, at the end of each season I’m always wondering how on earth they’ll continue with a fresh story line but somehow they do and it’s amazing! Available to watch on Netflix.

Scandal: Another similar politics focused show that I enjoy watching so much. Written by Shonda Rhimes (creator of Grey’s Anatomy) this one follows Olivia Pope, a media consultant as she attempts to fix all of the scandalous happenings in Washington. She even has an affair with the President and it’s very juicy! Such a great watch and I’m pretty sure it’s on Netflix also.

The Bachelor: Ok so everyone here in the States is Bachelor obsessed, and I never got it, until I sat watched it. It’s basically trash TV at it’s finest where a number of women fight for one guy and a proposal at the end of the season! The best season I’ve seen so far was Ben’s season and it brought me hours of joy! If you like trash tv, some of my other favorites are The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Southern Charm. Watch here.

The Affair: This show is legitimately amazing and doesn’t get the hype it deserves. It’s about a man who has an affair and tells the story of the aftermath through the perspectives of the 4 people involved! Also love the fact that it’s filmed in Montauk. Season 3 just finished and was a little bit of a disappointment compared to season 1 and 2 which were just beyond. Joshua Jackson stars in it and he’s just delicious. Watch here.

Friday Night Lights: I never thought I liked football until I watched FNL on Netflix. It’s about a high school football team in Texas, and while it might sound like a boys show, I promise there’s so much to love about this show, from Tim Higgins (the most beautiful man on earth) to Coach Taylor (my dream husband) and all of the wonderful plot twists along the way! Everyone I know whose watched the show becomes obsessed, even my mom who bought all 5 seasons on amazon. It’s available on Netflix btw!

The Fall: This suspenseful crime drama that stars Jamie Dornan (drool) is set in Belfast and follows a serial killer as he plots and kills a number of women while leading a double life as a normal working Dad. SUCH a thrilling show that I have to watch with the light on but ultimately is addictive and super entertaining. Watch on Netflix

Bloodline: This Netflix original drama is based on a family living in Florida who have a very murky past and even though they try to live their lives as law abiding citizens, secrets keep coming to haunt them. If you like a good thriller with a lot of twists then you’ll love this one! The episodes are really long too so there’s plenty to get through. Stream it on Netflix.
