This Summer I found myself really living for the weekends! Working so much during the week can make time go so quickly so I relish the weekends as a chance to get out and do as many fun things in the city as I can possibly fit in! On Saturday I went on the Roosevelt Island Air Tram into Manhattan. For the price of a subway ride its a really cool way to get some nice views of the skyline and try something different! That said I would hate to be up there on a windy day. We landed pretty close to heaven for my sweet tooth “Dylans Candy Bar”! This candy store is owned by Ralph Laurens daughter and is filled with 2 floors of yumminess.
The next day we got the East River Ferry into Manhattan from Queens (really fitting all modes of transport into the weekend!) For 6 dolla you get to sit on a boat for a half an hour and sail all around Manhattan and also work on your tan. Really nice change to sitting on a stuffy subway! This weekend I also saw a man lunching with his dog! SO CUTE!
