Movies: I’ve seen some great movies over the past few weeks. Firstly I finally got around to watching Labour Day with Kate Winslet. My Mom has been recommending it for months and with good reason. Its a lovely story about a Mother and Son and an unexpected guest who is a very handsome criminal! Very sweet! I also really enjoyed Love Rosie with the uber babe Lilly Collins (major eyebrow envy). This was definitely the cutest movie I have seen in a long time! All about a first love, babies and growing up!
Eating: Lately I’ve been making a huge effort to teach myself how to cook before I move to New York. I’m terribly lazy when it comes to cooking but recently I’ve been making some Quinoa dishes. Quinoa is a really great alternative to pasta, rice and potatoes as its a lot healthier because of its high protein content. Its super easy to make and goes with everything! I like to make mine with chicken and broccoli.
Loving: I’ve definitely mentioned this product in a previous post but I am obsessed with my Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow. Its a bronzer and highlighter compact and I swear anytime I wear it people compliment my skin! It literally makes you glow!
Craving: A Self Portrait dress. You guys may have seen on my Instagram lately that I am seriously lusting after one of these beautiful dresses. They have gorgeous lace detailing and clever sheer panels that make the perfect dress to wear to lunch during the day and to a cocktail party at night! Wish I had the moolah and an occasion to have an excuse to buy one.
Binge Watching: Its no secret that my shows on Netflix bring me too much joy! I recently finished watching the sweetest family show called Parenthood and I have to say when I watched the last episode there was a void in my life for a good week. Its filled with happy and sad storylines and great characters! I promise you will be hooked. Then I also enjoyed watching the new Netflix series called Bloodline starring my favourite Coach Taylor from Friday Night Lights. Im actually embarrassed to say I watched the whole season this weekend, well not too embarrassed because I’m sick in bed at the moment but I promise you guys will be addicted too!
Reading: I’ve literally just started reading “The Girl on the Train” this week and so far I’m really enjoying it. Its about a girl who gets on the same train at the same time on her way to work every day and the train passes a house and a family who the girl longs to know! I’m really not making it sound great but it really is a good read!
