Just a few weeks ago, I was treated to my very first pair of Birkenstock sandals and I wanted to share the love with you guys! Growing up, I’ll admit I thought Birkenstocks were the least coolest thing ever. My Mom wore them all the time and always boasted about how comfortable they were and how all of the “cool hipsters” used to wear them when she was a teenager. But lately I’ve notice how Birkenstock has reinvented itself as a trendier brand through collaborations with stores like J Crew and the release of a highly sought after metallic line (see my pretty gold ones below). I have to say I’m looking forward to breaking mine in to wear in New York this Summer and have found some great inspiration on how to style them.
If they’re cool enough for Kate, Alexa and Miranda, then they’re cool enough for me!
