Some of you may have seen on Snapchat (michaelabear1) that I started my new job in New York this week. I’ll be sharing the exciting news of where I’m working early next week but in preparation for entering the corporate working world, I realised I needed to do a little wardrobe revamp. Because I was limited in what I could bring over from Ireland (thank you Air Lingus), I wanted to buy a few key pieces that were suitable for work yet still appropriate for afterwork Summer festivities. This white dress from H&M was the perfect piece. I really think the fact that it’s nicely tailored makes it look far more expensive than it actually was.

With starting my new job this week and moving into my new apartment tomorrow, I definitely feel like things are finally starting to fall into place here in New York. Even though it may seem like I’m having all of the fun in the world on social media, its hard to forget that there have definitely been some rough times in trying to establish a new life over here. That said, I wouldn’t change a thing about it because it definitely toughened me up and the future is looking extremely bright!
