This past weekend was possibly one of the best weekends I’ve had since arriving in NYC. On Saturday, Cathal and I visited a pumpkin farm for the first time (More on that later in the week) and on Sunday I got to enjoy one of the most beautiful days of Autumn yet. Back home in Ireland, seeing the changes in seasons can be difficult at times, unlike here where one morning its Summer and the next its Autumn. One of my favourite movies that always reminds me of this time of year is “You’ve Got Mail”, Remember the cute one with Meg Ryan and her sweet little bookstore? Well that one movie always made me dream of NYC in the Fall, and I’m so glad to be soaking in as much of the Autumnal experience while I can.
This includes raiding the stores for a whole new Autumn/Winter wardrobe, after all I did only move here with two suitcases filled with Summer clothes and Cadburys chocolate. I’ve been trying to rebuild my wardrobe with classic pieces that can be worn in different ways and this coat from H&M’s Conscious Collection is just the ticket.
