Happy Monday Everyone! You guys might have seen that Cathal and I visited Hoboken, New Jersey on Saturday. I remember my first two Summers in NYC, a trip to Hoboken and the infamous Carlos Bakery from Cake Boss was always on my to do list, yet for some reason I never quite made it. Obviously I wasn’t the only one who was excited to visit the bakery as when we first arrived there was at least 70 people ahead of us in the queue, so we went for a wander before coming back for some treats. It was actually very cool to see some of the cakes being made on site especially for a baking fanatic like me!
After we pigged out on some canoli’s and a cupcake we walked around the town a little and now I have to say that I slightly want to live there! It’s very similar to a nice suburb with an old fashioned feel to it, not to mention the endless amount of restaurants and beautiful views of Manhattan. No matter how run down this city makes me with constantly being on the go, seeing its skyline renews my love for it each and every time.
