One of the best things about living in New York is the endless amount of fun events that go on around the city. This week I had the chance to go to a pop up event by one of my all time favourite brands, Rifle Paper. If you follow me on Instagram, you will know of my love for stationary. Without a doubt, I am a stationary hoarder and will buy pretty notebooks and cards that I one hundred percent don’t need but honestly they bring me such joy that I don’t feel one bit guilty. Rifle Paper is one of my favourite stationary companies, I’m obsessed with their cute illustrations on their calendars and to do lists.
So I was delighted when I got to attend the launch of Rifle Papers collaboration with another company I love, Paperless Post. The store was filled to the brim with fresh flowers and stationary, my two favourite things and an Instagram gold mine! What was even more special was that the founder of the company, Anna Bond was there singing prints to celebrate the launch! I finally got my hands on a print that I’ve been eyeing up for so long which you can see below. Its of a brunette girl walking her dogs through Washington Square Park in Autumn, which is the park I walk through every day going to work! It really stood out to me and I know in a couple of years time it will be a great sentiment of my time in New York.
It was so lovely to spend the evening with a woman who’s business and creativity I admire so much. She was so lovely in person and full of inspiration! If you’re in New York over the weekend definitely make a visit at 171 Elizabeth Street.
