With only 4 MORE DAYS until I head home to Ireland for Christmas, I felt determined to make this last weekend in New York a special one! Being in this city during the build up to Christmas is something I’ve dreamed of ever since I was obsessed with Home Alone when I was a kid! There’s such a magical atmosphere in the city with so much fun things to see, but we’re missing just one thing, Snow! The weather is definitely much hotter than expected for this time of year, I swear this weekend was so warm people were literally walking around in t-shirts!
We took these snaps yesterday while walking around The West Village the morning after watching the McGregor fight (hence the shades). People get really into decorating their houses with the different holidays over here so its just lovely to walk around admiring all of the festiveness!

It’s going to be a busy week ahead trying to get everything ready for my trip home but I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for anything in my entire life! If you follow me on Snapchat (Michaelabear1) you’ll know all too well how long I’ve been counting down the weeks! I cant imagine how I’ll feel seeing my family again after 7 months, not to mention my dogs, I literally will have a heart attack! I’m super close to my family and talk to them at least twice a day on Facetime so it’s definitely making this Christmas more special than ever knowing we’ll be together again!
