Happy Tuesday Everyone! I’m recovering after a fun filled long weekend here in NYC! It was an extra special weekend because the first snowfall finally arrived! I have to admit it was as magical as I hoped it would be. Niamh and I spent hours walking around Central Park yesterday soaking it all in, everything is ten times prettier in the snow!
This freezing cold weather is making it harder and harder to wear anything but big puffy coats and long johns, but I have found the secret to keeping warm in these baltic conditions, Uniqlo heat tech shirts and leggings! I literally have one shirt for each day of the week that I wear under a sweater and it works like a charm (alongside two pairs of tights under my jeans!) I’ve stocked up on the heat tech items for next weekend’s ski trip upstate. The gang and I are heading up Friday after work for two nights in a little cabin and some fun on the slopes. I’ve never skied before so I’m really looking forward to it but secretly know that I’ll spend the majority of the weekend on my tush!
