Happy Tuesday Guys! This week is obviously Thanksgiving here in the states which means it’s a short working week for me ! This past weekend was the first time I started getting the festive feels this year and I know its still early but I’m ready to embrace the Christmas cheer in every which way I can. One of my favorite things about being in NYC during the holidays is seeing the Bergdorf Christmas Windows. Ever since I saw that movie “Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorfs,” I have a whole other appreciation for the work that goes into creating these beautiful masterpieces! And I dont say that light-heartedly becuase the details in each of these windows is literally astounding. Another festive gem is the actual Christmas Shop on the top floor of Bergdorfs, which is so much fun to visit and drool over the $50 ornaments that I could only DREAM of decorating my tree with!

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I find myself realising just how much I have to be thankful for at the moment! Firstly it’s only a matter of weeks until I head home for Christmas to spend time with my favorite people (and dogs) in the world, and thankfully they’re all happy and healthy and did I tell you I have a baby niece or nephew on the way? This will be the first baby in my family so it’s an EXTRA special Christmas because next year, our family will be that much bigger! On the other hand, I’m so beyond thankful for a roof over my head and to have a job that I love. Honestly, that might sound cheesy but often when I walk around the city I see so many homeless people and I think to myself what if one day that could be me? Ok well maybe that’s a little dramatic but it’s always in the back of my mind that we never know what’s around the corner and we should cherish each and every blessing we have while we have them! Besides that there’s little things I’m thankful for, like the fact that Central Park is alive with Autumn right now, or that the guy in Chop’t remembers my order before I even have to tell him and finally I’m thankful for you guys. I know this little blog of mine is by no means the biggest in the world, but each and everytime you guys click to read a post, like one of my instagram photos or send me a snap on snapchat, it really does bring a smile to my face! So thank you for always being kind and following me on this big crazy adventure that is life in your 20’s in NYC!
