Happy Thursday Everyone! What a week it’s been! Last year I got to attend the Met Gala for the very first time and it was literally what I referred to as a once in a lifetime opportunity. So when I found out I was going with work again I was over the moon. I didn’t have a huge amount of time to get ready for it this year so there was a little panic trying to find something to wear. I worked with the Vogue fashion team to call in a couple of dresses but honestly I wasn’t hugely in love with anything I tried on, so when Don O’Neill offered to dress me again this year I jumped at the opportunity to visit his showroom and try on some gowns! He had so many great options that I found it really difficult to narrow it down to just one, but in the end I went with a beautiful black sequin dress with star details that was really comfortable and flattering at the same time!
As wonderful as last year’s carpet was, I think people took it to another extreme this year with the Heavenly Bodies theme! As always, the second Rihanna walked on the carpet there were audible gasps, she fully commits to theme every year and isn’t afraid to have a little fun while doing so! Aside from that there really were so many highlights, from seeing all of the Kardashian clan up close and personal, to Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart making their red carpet debut and seeing my QUEEN Cardi B in person was an actual pinch me moment!
