Happy Friday, everyone! This week was a hectic one so I’ve been ready for the weekend since like Tuesday! Yesterday I was invited to preview The Color Factory before it opens on August 20th. The Color Factory is basically a pop-up multisensory art exhibit made up of 16 different experiential installations created by talented artists and designers, all made with that perfect colorful Instagram in mind! When I was in San Francisco this time last year with work, my co-workers and I luckily got to visit the pop-up there and my mind was absolutely blown so I was beyond excited to hear that it was coming to New York!
Each different installation was so fun and unique but one of the best things is the number of little treats you get throughout, from some mochi, to macaroons, to Sockerbit candy and finally a scoop of the most amazing ice cream at the end. Another thing I really love about it is that they provide you with cards to scan at each of the installations to get the photos they take sent straight to your email. So even if you go on your own, you’ll still have amazing photos at the end. It’s hard to pick just one highlight, but if I had to choose I would say the ball pit at the very end was insanely fun. The pit has 500,000 balls in it and somehow feels like you’re sitting in the ocean, very relaxing but just make sure you don’t loose your phone! Could not recommend visiting more if you happen to be in New York! It’s located in Soho and you can buy tickets on their website, which you should do soon because they will absolutely sell out months in advance based on the success of their San Fran pop-up last year!
