Happy Weekend everyone! I’ve been having a lovely one so far, Cathal and I took a little roadtrip upstate to Cold Springs yesterday and it was just what I needed. It’s a beautiful riverside town about two hours north of Manhattan that has really cute stores and restaurants, couldn’t recommend it more if you’re looking for a city escape and you can easily get there by train too if you don’t have a car. And today I’m taking it pretty easy, catching up on chores and cleaning before a very busy week ahead! Here’s some of the things I came across on the interwebs this week.

Speaking of pets, recently I came across a website called Get Your Pet that’s great for finding a cat or dog to adopt in your local area. A couple of weeks ago Cathal and I came across the most beautiful Australia Shepard on it and were really considering trying to adopt him. Unfortunately we had a hard think about it and figured out that now really isn’t the best time with both of us working as much as we do. But if you’re looking to adopt, definitely check it out. You can even narrow down to specific breeds.
