Happy Monday Everyone! Hope you’re week is off to a great start. I’m very excited to share today’s new YouTube video where I’m answering some reader questions about my career journey and my job at Teen Vogue! Last week I asked people on snapchat if they had any questions about working in social media and I was delighted that so many wonderful responses came back! So much so that I decided to film two videos, the first one here is more about my own career and answering questions specific to working in social at a media brand! The next video will be answering the broader questions about my tips and tricks for interviews, how a blog is a great resource in the job hunt and so much more so keep an eye out for that in the coming week or so! NATIONAL DOG SHOW

Fellow dog lovers, rejoice for what is about to be a whole lot love for our four legged friends! It probably comes as no surprise to any of you reading today’s post that dogs are one of the things that make me happiest in the world. Since moving to New York and leaving behind my own two little fur babies, Henry and Levi, I find myself walking in Central Park all of the time seeking out dogs to spy on! I truly wish more than anything that Cathal and I could get a dog of our own here in the city, but there’s a couple of things holding me back. Firstly, I fear it would be selfish on my end to bring a dog home seeing as I’m always working and never actually in my apartment. Secondly, doggy day-care and dog walkers are quite pricey (almost equivalent to paying another rent every month) and with NYC already being so expensive, I just feel like now is not the right time for me to become a dog mom unfortunately!

WEEKEND READING VOLUME 13

Happy Saturday Everyone! I’m writing this morning’s post from a hotel bed in Philadelphia after what I can only describe as an eventful night! It started with eating french fries in my pyjamas in bed (as one does when living that hotel life) and was disrupted with a crazy loud alarm signalling that there was a fire in the building! So we were all evacuated and had to stand outside in the cold for nearly 3 hours, BUT thankfully everyone was alright and we were able to return back to our rooms eventually! I’m back today with another roundup of my favorite things on the internet from this week! Also, just wanted to apologise if you tried to visit my site over the week, we were experiencing quite a few technically difficulties that meant my blog was down for a couple of days. But thankfully after a lot of phone calls, googling and a near melt-down, we’re up and running again!

WEEKEND READING VOLUME 12

Chanel Coco Club

Morning all! It’s currently 6.30 on Saturday morning and I’m cursing my inability to sleep in! On the plus side I had a little time to whip up another Weekend Reading post! This weekend is certainly a busy one, starting last night with the launch of the Chanel Coco Club at The Wing here in New York! If you’re in the city this weekend then I highly recommend stopping by when it opens to the public tomorrow (its V. Instagrammable lol). Then later today I’m working for a couple of hours at the Ted conference which should be fun and meeting up with some friends for din dins tonight! I truly love this time of year because there’s so many fun things going on!
