Hi Guys! I’m very excited to share something new on Life of a Lady Bear today! Every month I’m going to be sharing book recommendations of books that I read the previous month. If you follow me on snapchat (michaelabear1), you’ll know that I LOVE to share what book I’m reading at any given moment and nothing makes me happier than sharing the best reads that I come across. This months books kind of have a little bit of a thriller/mystery theme, so if you liked popular reads Gone Girl and Girl On The Train then I feel pretty confident you’ll enjoy the below.

Hi everyone! Excited to be back today with the second part of my new blog series, “The Classics” where each week I talk about one item that I either really love having in my wardrobe or one that’s on the top of my wish list! Today I’m going to talk about my go-to everyday handbag that I literally could not live without, the Longchamp Le Pliage Tote.
I was first introduced to this bag about 5 years ago during one of my Summers spent in New York with my friend Jen. She had one and swore that it was the best thing since sliced bread and convinced me that I needed one too, at that time I was interning during the day from 9-4 and waitressing every night from 5-1/2 and basically would be living out of this bag! So off I went to Bloomingdales to buy my first Nylon Le Pliage in a size large and I haven’t looked back since! No word of a lie, the bag has been in my hand ever since! I used it in my final year of college to carry my books and now I use it every single day going to work, without fail!

Hi Everyone! I hope you’re not feeling the Monday Blues too badly today! I have to say, I had such a lovely weekend. Cathal was out of town for a work trip so I had the apartment to myself for a couple of days and ticked so many things off of my to-do list! I gave the apartment a deep clean, switched out my Summer wardrobe for Winter and filmed 3 YouTube videos (did you see my latest one here?) All in all it was a great one and made me feel so much less stressed going into a new week! Todays blog post is a fun and light hearted one where I wanted to share all of the dream jobs I’ve aspired to have over the years!

Happy Sunday Everyone! Hope you are all having a lovely and relaxing weekend! If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat (Michaelabear1), you might have seen that Cathal and I went pumpkin picking last Sunday. Honestly, it’s my favorite Autumn activity and one that I look forward to every year! It’s just such a fun day out between the yummy food, getting out of the city and not to mention all of  the pumpkins! The one pumpkin patch that we always visit is Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard, it’s about an hour and a half outside of Manhattan and easily accessible on the Metro North Train (which is great if you don’t have a car or forget to book one in time just like we did!). This was our third time visiting and it genuinely never disappoints.
