Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, mine was jam packed with a trip to Brooklyn to visit Smorgasburg (a wonderful outdoor food market) as well as a little bit of shopping in preparation for my mini getaway to Cape Cod next week! Happy Monday Everyone! If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat (Michaelabear1) you might have seen that I spent last week in San Francisco. I even had the pleasure of meeting the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai which was a surreal moment.  The days were pretty jam packed working but we did manage to pack in a couple of fun activities and I wanted to share a couple of my recommendations with you guys along with a couple of snaps from my trip!

Sometimes the homesickness just hits me out of nowhere and usually it’s happens on the weekend when I’m not crazy busy at work and have a little time on my hands! After two years in NYC, I’ve come to expect that feeling homesick from time to time is just part of my journey here and it’s a small price to pay for all of the wonderful opportunities that NYC has! That said, I know for certain I’m not the only one who has days where they don’t feel 100%, so here are a couple of things that help me get out of a negative headspace.
