Happy first official day of Autumn everyone! I could not be more excited for my favorite season to kick off! I literally dream of Autumn in New York and in my opinion, it’s when the city is the most magical! I know that sounds cheesy but walking around Central Park when the leaves are golden and seeing people start to put pumpkins on their front porches really makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. The nice thing about living here compared to Ireland, is the distinct seasons we have. With each season comes new wardrobe choices and a whole new set of things to do here in the city! This is my bucket list for Autumn in New York and I can’t wait to bring you guys along.

I don’t know about you guys, but with every change of season comes a new urge to give my wardrobe a makeover! Without a doubt Autumn is my all time favorite season for dressing. Every year at the end of Summer, I always buy myself a new pair of black boots, a winter coat and some sweaters. They’re what I call my style staples because I know for the next 6 months, I’ll be wearing them again and again which is why I do endless amounts of browsing online to try and find the perfect ones! I figure that I’m not the only one who likes to update their closet every once and a while so I thought I would share some of my favorite things that I’ve come across online in hopes of saving you hours of scrolling! Grab a cup of tea and get comfy and happy shopping!

Happy Hump Day Everyone! Sincere apologies for being M.I.A this week here on blog, as some of you might know from snapchat (michaelabear1), this past 7 days has been a crazy whirlwind for New York Fashion Week. It’s been a week of running around Manhattan in unsuitable shoes with two phones in my hand trying to keep on top of everything, but a fun one at that! There’s been so many amazing shows and but some of my highlights were the Kate Spade Presentation and the Rebecca Minkoff show which happened right in the middle of Soho (I got to interview her for Teen Vogue as well which was so much fun). This fashion week, I was lucky enough to get backstage access to a bunch of shows with Teen Vogue which was an experience in itself, so many people in such a tiny space with camera’s pointing in every direction, I don’t even know how the models can breath! But somehow they manage, all while looking like beautiful bean poles!

Happy September First Everyone! HOW ON EARTH IS SEPTEMBER HERE ALREADY! Seriously, this past Summer was without a doubt the quickest three months of my entire life. Usually my Summer’s in New York are filled with weekend’s away and evening adventures but this year it was a little different. I guess you could say it was my first grown up Summer where my main priority wasn’t to always be out and about doing fun things all of the time, but instead focusing on settling into a new working routine both at Teen Vogue and all of the side work that comes with blogging!
