Morning from New York guys! Many of you may have seen that I landed back in NYC on Friday morning after a wonderful little vacation back home in Ireland! It was straight back into the New York grind with meetings Friday evening, a speaking engagement Saturday and catching up with friends Sunday! Whenever I come back here after a trip home, I purposefully try to make myself really busy so I don’t have time to feel homesick after saying goodbye to my family. But if I’m being honest this last goodbye was probably the toughest one yet.

Hi Guys! Hope you’re all getting over the Monday blues. I’m still enjoying my mini vacation at home in Galway and I have to admit, the few days of home comforts have done me the world of good! As much as I love New York, the fast pace and the constant need to be on the go can definitely get draining after a while. It’s funny how moving to a city that never sleeps can sometimes make you crave some peace and quiet in the Irish country side! I’m excited to make the most of my last few days with my family, my dogs and of course all of the cadburys I can get my hands on!

This is the first time I’m waking up on a Sunday at home in Ireland for quite some time! As many of you will know from my Instagram and snapchat (Michaelabear1), I’m currently enjoying a little vacation back in Galway with my family and I honestly couldn’t be enjoying it more! I’ve been making a solid effort to get my head out of my phone and laptop since arriving home and I feel like it’s done me the world of good! Hi guys! Excited to be finally getting around to sharing my post all about our trip to Newport Rhode Island last weekend. My boyfriend Cathal surprised me with a last minute city escape to Newport and it was honestly one of the nicest things I’ve done since moving to NYC last year! It’s about a 4.5 hour drive from the city but there’s lots of nice places to stop along the way such as Greenwich and Mystic Connecticut. Once we arrived we checked into The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina where we had the most gorgeous room right beside the ocean topped off with our own private terrace!
