Happy Friday Everyone! If you follow me on social media, you’ll know that earlier this month I celebrated my 27th Birthday which means that. according to my Google search, I’m officially in my late 20’s (gulp.) I remember being in my late teens and thinking that 27 was officially “grown up” age where everyone had life figured out, owned a house, was married and maybe even had a kid! Now looking back I was completely crazy to think that lol! Even though sometimes I still feel like I’m 18, there’s definitely a few things that happen once you’re in your mid-late 20s.

Happy Friday, everyone! This week was a hectic one so I’ve been ready for the weekend since like Tuesday! Yesterday I was invited to preview The Color Factory before it opens on August 20th. The Color Factory is basically a pop-up multisensory art exhibit made up of 16 different experiential installations created by talented artists and designers, all made with that perfect colorful Instagram in mind! When I was in San Francisco this time last year with work, my co-workers and I luckily got to visit the pop-up there and my mind was absolutely blown so I was beyond excited to hear that it was coming to New York!

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you’re all feeling rested and ready to tackle another week! Our weekend plans for an upstate getaway were sadly derailed on Saturday when the weather literally went haywire, I’ve honestly never seen rain and thunderstorms like what we experienced on Saturday. I didn’t want to waste the weekend sitting inside continuing to binge-watch The Americans (one of the best TV Shows I’ve ever seen!)  so on Saturday Cathal and I had a nice little day of museum hopping on the Upper East Side! Even though we literally live 3 blocks from The Guggenheim and The Cooper Hewitt, we never made an effort to visit! So on Friday we made the most of the crappy weather and spent the day looking at art and enjoying the downtime. If I’m being honest, I was a little underwhelmed by the Guggenheim but The Cooper Hewitt was so much fun. Highly recommend visiting if you like science and interactive learning experiences!

Happy Friday Everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful week. Hard to believe that August is in full swing already! In my last blog post I spoke about wanting to make the most out of the rest of Summer and last weekend was definitely a highlight of the season so far. My friend Mallori has a beautiful lake house in Connecticut and invited Cathal and I to go up for two nights! The Lake House actually kind of feels like a home away from home for me, when I was on a J1 about 5 years ago, Cathal and I along with 10 other Irish boys used to head up with Mallori every single Friday and stay until Sunday! Definitely one of the best Summers I’ve ever had, nobody really had any major responsibilities back then other than just to make the most of our time in New York!
