One of the best things about living in New York is the endless amount of fun events that go on around the city. This week I had the chance to go to a pop up event by one of my all time favourite brands, Rifle Paper. If you follow me on Instagram, you will know of my love for stationary. Without a doubt, I am a stationary hoarder and will buy pretty notebooks and cards that I one hundred percent don’t need but honestly they bring me such joy that I don’t feel one bit guilty. Rifle Paper is one of my favourite stationary companies, I’m obsessed with their cute illustrations on their calendars and to do lists.

I’ve created a new little tradition here in New York. Every so often, Cathal and I make a Sunday evening trip to Alice’s Tea Cup for a slice of cake and a cup of tea. If you’re into places that are extremely instagrammable and have a huge menu to crave your sweet tooth, then you’ll enjoy a visit to Alice’s Tea Cup. Theres 3 locations but the best one in my opinion is 156 East 64th Street. Its a popular place for kids birthdays and hen parties (you might have even spotted it in Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck) but for good reason. The decor is based on an Alice in Wonderland theme with some of the tables made from vintage sewing machines.

Did you guys know that October is my favouritest month of all? I could not be more excited to spend my first Fall here in New York. It’s amazing what a difference just a couple of weeks can make, the weather has definitely cooled down and the trees in Central Park are starting to turn. The past week alone has been super exciting! As I mentioned in my last post, we spent last Saturday at the Global Citizen Festival which was just beyond amazing. Then on Tuesday Cathal and I went to see one of my favourite artists Hozier play in Radio City music hall. I was really looking forward to this one and  he certainly did not disappoint, I was quite literally in tears the entire thing!

Happy Monday Everyone! Usually I hate Mondays (who doesn’t?) but I have a pretty great week ahead of me. Tomorrow Cathal and I are going to see Hozier play in Radio City Music Hall which I could not be more excited about! I bought the tickets back in April and I think I’ve been counting down the weeks ever since! And then Wednesday night, we have tickets to see an ice hockey game for the very first time which should be fun aswell!
