Praise Jesus its the freakin weekend guys! The New York City pace has well and truly caught up with me this week. Theres something about being in this city that makes me feel guilty for sitting at home doing nothing when there’s so many fun things to explore and as a result I’m finding it hard to keep my eyes open when riding the subway every morning. So this weekend is definitely going to be filled with naps and perhaps even a Sex and the City marathon!
Happy Hump Day Everyone. Apologies for being a little quiet on the blog this week, between returning home from the VMA’s and a hectic week at work its been a little manic. This past weekend a long one here in the States, so Cathal and I took a trip up to Boston for a few days for a little city escape. I have a lot of family in Boston so its like my home away from home which I’m so thankful for! We started the weekend with some beach time and a road trip to the gay capital of Massachusetts, “Provincetown”. I’d never been here before but its one of the cutest little towns I’ve come across, plus theres some very colourful characters that are sure to bring a few smiles! It was actually my Birthday too, so Cathal surprised me with a lovely dinner topped off with a piece of deep fried strawberry shortcake (calories don’t count on Birthdays right?).

I was in Zara this weekend and I got serious flutters looking at all of the pretty coats and sweaters they have in for Autumn and it makes me so excited to spend my first Fall here in New York! But until then, I’m going to make the most out of the last few weeks of Summer. With my trip to LA coming up this Wednesday and spending Labour Day weekend in Boston, I treated myself to this cute playsuit from H&M. Navy is a colour that I don’t wear too often but I’m starting to think it might be a nice alternative to my usual black!
