Happy Friday Everyone! It’s a holiday weekend here in the states which is such a treat considering that they are so few of them throughout the year. Usually Cathal and I head away when there’s a long weekend but considering that we’ll be back in Ireland for a trip next month, we decided to take it easy and hang out in the city instead! Of course with Memorial Day Weekend comes the beginning of all the Summer sales. I’ve been waiting for this weekend to arrive so I could stock up on a couple of a Summer basics and may have even treated myself to a new designer bag to celebrate 3 years in New York! I’ll make sure to share with you all when it arrives but for now, here’s my best picks from the sales!

MET GALA 2018

Happy Thursday Everyone! What a week it’s been! Last year I got to attend the Met Gala for the very first time and it was literally what I referred to as a once in a lifetime opportunity. So when I found out I was going with work again I was over the moon. I didn’t have a huge amount of time to get ready for it this year so there was a little panic trying to find something to wear. I worked with the Vogue fashion team to call in a couple of dresses but honestly I wasn’t hugely in love with anything I tried on, so when Don O’Neill offered to dress me again this year I jumped at the opportunity to visit his showroom and try on some gowns! He had so many great options that I found it really difficult to narrow it down to just one, but in the end I went with a beautiful black sequin dress with star details that was really comfortable and flattering at the same time!

Happy Friday Everyone! It’s been 4 days since I got back to NYC after an amazing weekend in Palm Springs for Coachella and I STILL feel like I’m recovering! Honestly one of the most incredible weekends but at the same time one that took every ounce of energy out of me!  I’ve always loved music festivals and of course Coachella (as well as Glastonbury) has been on my bucket list for a long time, so when UGG invited me to be their guest at Coachella I jumped at the opportunity!

Happy Friday Everyone! Hope you all had a fab week and are looking forward to celebrating St. Paddy’s Day over the weekend! I’m very excited because it’s the first time that it’s falling on a weekend since I’ve lived in New York AND one of my BFFs from home is visiting for a couple of days. I’m actually gobsmacked that the middle of March is already here, time is going way too quickly but at the same time, I’m ready for Spring to arrive and the crazy cold weather to be behind us. Speaking of March, I’m so excited to share this month’s reading list and book recommendations with you guys!
