GALWAY FOOD FESTIVAL

Happy Easter everyone! I hope the Easter bunny visited all of you! I’m currently chowing down handfuls of chocolate while writing this post! Yesterday Cathal and I visited the Galway Food Festival which is on in the Spanish Arch until Monday and if you’re around Galway before then, I highly recommend taking a trip! I first became hooked on food festivals while visiting Smorgasborg in NYC (read those posts here and here!). While not quite as big as Smorgasborg there was a huge variety of yummy treats in Galway, I got a yummy Lavender and Lemon Soda from the Biteclub stall, Cathal got sushi and a sausage roll and a juice from Roots and Greens while my friend Dee got a drool worthy Nutella Waffle from Mr.Waffle!

SO LONG MARCH

 Did you all have a good April Fools Day yesterday? I must be really gullible because I fell for a load of pranks. Time seems to be really flying for me at the moment. I finished my last semester of college this week and now I’m straight into the crazy stressful exam preparation as well as starting the job hunt for my move to New York at the end of May. I know the time between now and then is going to fly so I’m trying to enjoy every minute I have here at home! Tomorrow I have an early start to travel to Carlow for a photoshoot and then I’m looking forward to The Galway Food Festival over the weekend! It will be nice to spend Easter hanging out with the familia and meeting up with some friends! Keep an eye out on my Instagram to see what fun things I get up to!

TRENCH COAT

I have to say I’ve been on the lookout for a nice trench coat since last October. It really is one of those  staple pieces for your “Grown up wardrobe”.  I found this one last week in Penneys and really loved how it looked far more expensive than it actually was so of course I snapped it up! I think it will be perfect to wear in New York throughout the Summer and Autumn.  On Monday I spent the day up in Dublin and we shot these pictures in one of my favourite parts of the city, Temple Bar. This little corner boasts some amazing street art and lots of little vintage stores so I always love to visit while I’m there!
