Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, it’s officially the holiday season! There’s absolutely no better time to visit New York than the weeks leading up to Christmas. Starting in mid-November, the city gets a festive makeover and makes it hard to walk around without a huge smile on their faces. It seems that a lot of people are visiting NYC over the coming weeks so I wanted to share some of my favorite things to do in the city during the most magical time of the year!

Get dressed up to see The Nutcracker Ballet at Lincoln Centre followed by dinner at PJ Clarkes across the street. I’m doing this next week and can’t wait!

Visit the Christmas store on the top floor of Bergdorfs (I swear I visit at least once a week!)

Get tickets to see The Rockettes (it’s AMAZING, there’s even live camels in the show!)

Go ice skating at Woolman Rink in Central Park (early in the morning is the best time)

Get your Home Alone on by treating yourself to afternoon tea at The Plaza Hotel.

Go for a cocktail at Tavern On The Green, it’s decorated SO beautifully.

Watch the Christmas Light Display on Saks Fifth Ave right in front of the Rockefeller Tree.

Get some french fries at Pomme Frites on eat them in front of the Christmas tree in Washington Square Park

Walk around the Upper East Side and The West Village while admiring the beautifully decked out houses.

Visit the Bryant Park Christmas Market and treat yourself to a Nutella Crepe while watching the ice skaters.

Go to Rolfs for a drink and soak up all of the festive decor, best make a reservation though!

Book an igloo and look out at the Empire State Building from 230 Fifth.

Hope on the subway to Brooklyn and see the Christmas lights in Dyker Heights, you won’t be sorry.

Hope you guys enjoy visiting the city, feel free to send me a DM on Instagram if you need any more recommendations! And don’t forget to check out my other New York Guides, including the best places for dinner and brunch!
